....its been too long....

Brace yourself, this will be a long one....

The summer is long over, and with it, my suntan. But it was the most increadable summer of my life (I know, it's only been twenty years). Not only did Bobby propose to me, but I worked at the best summer job I've had to date. A Camp.

Camp Winnebago was an experiance like none other. The kids were so funny and taught me so much, but the people I worked with became like family. Bobby also worked at camp, so it made seeing eachother during the day very easy. Good thing because after work, I was usually drop dead tired so post work fun time was very limited. But on the weekends... oh boy those weekends.

Yes, he proposed and that was increadable, sweet, and histarically surprizing. I don't think I've ever heard or seen a bigger jaw drop than mine that night. I never saw it coming and once it started, I coudn't believe it was. Talk about butterflys, lets just say they were terridactles.

Now, I'm back at school, looking for a job, thinking about the coming years, planning a wedding, trying to lose more weight, and figure out if I am spending enough time on schoolwork.

Oh, and I will sure as hell try to update this more! Hows about a few pictures from the summer?

So, Mother's Day was pretty fun. Britt and I made an awesome breakfast to the family and we all ate way too much all day. But more about that later, I wanna show off pictures! But, my camera is way over by the stairs and I am way over not by the stairs. Ugh, tomorrow.

Summer

I am so excited about this summer. It is going to be so great having a job that actually means something and being able to work with Bobby. But I am worried about being too busy. Why? Because I am also working at Starbucks this summer. Most days, I will work all day at camp and then work the evening at Starbucks. Talk about exhausting!

Wow. Short post. I think my brain is tired from grammar tress.

Last exam tomorrow!!

Late night post.

This post is coming from you very, very late (or early) on Sunday (or Monday) night (or morning). For the sake of my sanity, lets say Sunday night. It will be Monday morning after I wake up (if I fall asleep).

On youtube right now, there is this whole "10 things" thing going around and I am going to submit to it in writing (perhaps a video later).
In my lifetime...
1. I want to marry Bobby and have a loving, comfortable life with him and our children.
2. I want to see the end to the endangered species list, and have all animals on it, become prosperous and free again.
3. I want to see my children grow up and find love.
4. I want to see a cure for AIDS.
5. and all types of Cancer.
6. I want to see America figure out a new political system... I don't think our current one is working.
7. I want to make a difference in the lives of my students.
8. I want to see celebrity "immortality" end.
9. I want everyone I love to grow old and die only happy and painless.
10. I want people to realize that we are all connected.

Wow, that was fun. Ok, it is now 2:08 A.M. Ugh. Usually, this would be no big deal because I am used to staying up this late. But, I have a final in just about six hours. I think I'm prepared for it, but then again, I didn't study that hard for it. I guess I feel like I gained enough throughout the semester to do fine. Hopefully reading Angels in America will actually turn out to be helpful.

I really hope I can sleep soon. It's not like I haven't tried. i've spent the last four hours or sp trying. I just lay there for awhile, then I read some Godfather then lay there more and read more.

...Sleep coming soon..... Heopefully

Saturday

Lets see, whats new today? Since I had no real commitments today, I splet in till about one in the afternoon and it was wonderful. Then, I spent a few hours in the library reading Angels in America for my Experiencing Theatre class. I found out that was going to be the subject of the essay portion of the final. So I felt it required another read through. It took about two hours and by the end, I was so happy to be done. At least now, I can answer intelligently on the essay portion.

This evening I watched the Nascar race at Richmond which was really exciting and then spent a few hours reading over theatre notes and doing grammar trees. The time seemed pretty well spent and I'm feeling fairly confident on both exams.

Around finals time I am always amazed by how many people admit to failing a course or coming very close. The constant question is "What do you need on your final?" Unfortunately, for many students, they mean, "What do you need on the final to pass?" I think this is so unfortunate. I mean, how do students allow their grades to get that poor? Do they ignore it thoughout the semester and somehow think the problem will go away by the end? It bothers me, and I wonder why people are even here sometimes. I mean, if you aren't hear to learn and better yourself, why even spend the money? Perhaps for the prestige of going to a university? Ugh! It just ticks me off that people seem to think that college is this easy thing... it's not! It takes hard work and commitment.

*Steps off podium*

Any who, that's just something I've wanted to rant about for awhile.

G'Night!

Bored to tears.

I am hoping writing in this will help me to figure out what I can be doing right now instead of being bored. I could work on homework, but I really do not want to do that because I think that is going to be my entire weekend. Poo on that. Perhaps I will work on a layout for this blog. Yes, indeed. I like that idea....

new layout coming soon :D
